Area Sales Manager | Neuro & Spine | West

In this position, you must be located in the Western US.  

This is your opportunity to join a truly disruptive spine and neurosurgical technology company. This Area Sales Manager role will be selling a capital surgical system to spine and neurosurgeons from Arizona to Washington. if you are an experienced capital sales professional that is looking for a truly differentiated product, this is your next role.

From the very first day on the job, you will be leveraging your relationships with spine and neurosurgeons in the Western US to sell the company’s technology. This isn’t an opportunity to learn the space, as we need someone who is already intimately familiar with the capital sales process. Your day to day will be spent meeting with hospital representatives, travelling throughout the region, and managing the long-term capital sales process. There is already a solid install base and pipeline in the region, we just need your expertise to close and grow the business.

You will be successful in this role if you have significant previous experience selling disruptive capital equipment to hospitals in the Western US. It will be even easier for you if you have existing relationships with spine and neurosurgeons. You should also be comfortable working in a very independent sales environment as we expect this role to often require 5 or more travel days in the region weekly. If you don’t self-describe as a road warrior, this may not be for you.

What you will be doing:

  • Selling cutting edge surgical capital technology to neuro and spine surgeons throughout the Western US.
  • Leverage your existing hospital and surgeon contacts to create a strong pipeline.

What you must have:

  • At least 5 years of experience selling surgical capital equipment.
  • Strong, current relationships with spine and neurosurgeons in the Western US.
  • Highly focused and self-driven personality with the ability to independently capitalize on opportunities as they arise.

 

Compensation: Highly competitive, but ultimately depends on your experience.
Travel: 75%
Years of Experience: 5+ capital equipment sales, neuro/spine preferred
Degree: BS/BA Required
Location: Western US
