Clinical Account Manager | Neuroimaging | Texas

Houston, TX US

Industry: Sales, Ind Contributor Job Number: 2384

Job Description

Clinical Account Manager | Neuroimaging | Texas

This is your opportunity to join a developing highly disruptive neuroimaging company! This longtime client of Legacy MedSearch is looking for a Clinical Account Manager in Texas to cover a range of post-sale processes while supporting their revolutionary imaging platform.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the post-sale process and drive product adoption by working directly with the neuro clinical team, surgeons, and the hospital marketing team. Your average day will be a mix of case coverage, post-sale support, and long-term growth initiatives for the product. Because of the novel nature of this device, patient awareness and adoption of technology will be one of the major focuses for the position. You’ll be a key component of strategically growing the business by making sure the product is used as much as possible for the widest range of patients possible. You will also be part of the sales team for new systems and for ongoing sales with existing customers.

To be successful here, you will need to have at least 3 years of experience in a sales or sales support role with a complex class III medical device. You’ll be best prepared for this type of work if you’ve previously worked with surgical robotics, navigation, or other diagnostic or therapeutic imaging systems. This company is still growing and has the feel of a startup, so you will need to have passion for bringing groundbreaking technology to patients here in the US. Expect a fair amount of travel throughout the state, and limited travel within the United States a few times each year.

Because you will be primarily working directly with surgeons and their teams, previous experience as an RN or PA would be an excellent fit for this role, but you must have at least some experience working for a medical device manufacturer if you’re coming from a clinical background.

What you will be doing:

  • Working closely with the neuro clinical team, surgeons, and hospital marketing team by using strong individual influencer skills to drive product adoption.
  • Acting as the primary program manager and liaison to ensure that key patient metrics are met from an educational and case-support standpoint.
  • Working closely with the hospital to assist in insurance, patient-flow, and all post-sale activities.

What you must have:

  • 3 or more years in a sales or sales support role with a Class III medical device, ideally a highly complex device such as robotics, navigation, diagnostic or therapeutic imaging, or a device used in high-risk environments like the operating room or cath lab.
  • Aptitude for complex surgical technology and the passion for helping patients that fuels this startup’s culture.

Compensation: Highly competitive, but ultimately depends on your experience.
Travel: 40%
Years of Experience: 3+ Sales Support
Degree: BS/BA Required with STEM, Lifescience, Nurse or PA preferred
Location: Texas
