President, US Operations / COO
Cardiology Pre-IPO (Mid-Stage Commercial)
The incoming President / COO of this rapidly growing global organization will lead the commercial operations using their 15+ years of progressive leadership experience with broad general knowledge of the four pillars of medical device operations (in order of importance):
1. Research & Development / Product Development
2. Commercial / Sales and Marketing
3. Operations / General Management / SG&A
4. Quality, Regulatory, Clinical Strategy
S/he will stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with strong day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives with an achievable goal of leading the company to an IPO in the next 3-5 years.
The ideal candidate will:
Have unquestionable integrity and leadership
Be well-grounded in and understand complex medical commercialization methodology, R&D, product development, reimbursement, sales processes and tools that support a market growth strategy.
Have background/experience with at least 4 of the following:
A leading consulting company (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Huron, Deloitte, etc) or completion of major healthcare leadership program such as Johnson & Johnson’s LDP, GEHC’s CLP, Medtronic’s LDRP, Stryker’s RISE, LDP or other rotational program for high achievers.
Engineering, R&D or scientific education
An advanced degree from a leading university (MBA, MS, PhD, MD, CPA, etc)
Experience in cardiology, cardiac disease, electrophysiology, CRM, AF, Cardiac Imaging, Cardiac Navigation, or diagnostic / therapeutic heart disease technology
Knowledge and contacts within the Cardiac Scientific Community with prior attendance at professional conferences such as HRS, ACC, SCAI or similar
