Job Description
Vice President of Operations | Regenerative Medicine | Georgia
This is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing regenerative medicine startup at the executive level! As the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for expanding the currently existing operations structure as the company scales.
Each day, you will be the executive that defines operational success for the company. You will have an incredibly high level of autonomy to define your goals and achieve them. Much of the job will be focused on continuing the current rapid rate of medical device production and solidifying the company’s supply chain, so your experience scaling a company in these areas will be critical. Your ability to see the big picture and make long term investments for the company will be key to your success in this role as well. You will be inheriting a team that will need to grow with the business, so your experience hiring and developing a personnel infrastructure should be highlighted on your resume.
To succeed in this role, you must have an incredibly strong background in medical device operations, especially in manufacturing or supply chain management. The company will be leaning on your operations expertise – for all operations matters, the buck stops with you. You will also be very successful here if you thrive in a “hands-off” environment. We want to give you the resources you need, then get out of your way. While you’ll be working in tandem with other members of the executive team, there won’t be interference in your day to day activities.
