Position Overview

We are seeking a clinically astute, patient-focused, and assertive medical device Regional Sales Manager with success selling complex high $ capital surgery into the operating room.


Position Responsibilities

  • This role is a “hands-on” managerial position for a deal closer who can drive business and manage a strong team of clinical support associates.
  • Prospect for new business and create additional reference sites by identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, trade-shows and leads.
  • Have true “C-Suite” access and ability to communicate  the business proposition to CEOs, COOs and Boards of major hospitals for a purchase over $1M

Position Requirements

  • Capital Surgery Selling / Clinical sales experience and at least 3 years of experience successfully selling products with an ASP >$250,000 into the operating room or Cath Lab.
  • Experience in Robotics, MIS and/ or complex surgical device
  • Understanding of human anatomy & physiology and medical terminology
  • Strong & positive relationships with orthopedic, cardiovascular, general or neurosurgeons and/or surgery personnel, plus the ability to go into surgery and support surgeon during long and complex surgeries on occasion when clinical specialists are unavailable
  • Current credentialing through a recognized agency

Educational Requirements

  • BS/BA/BBA+ from an accredited university

Base plus commission: $250,000++

Position Requirements:

  • Clinical experience; at least 2 years of experience working surgical biologics, orthopedics, or Spine 
  • Strong track record of proven success, and strong relationship.
  • 5 to 10+years of experience in spinal or orthopedic sales capacity
  • Strong & positive relationships with surgeons and/or surgery personnel
  • Ability to go into surgery room and support surgeons during long and complex surgeries
  • Previous successful recognition in Sales, with notations of Presidents Club, Masters Circle, Circle of Excellence, or the like.

Educational Requirements:

  • BS/BA in Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, or Associates or equivalent experience.
  • MBA (Highly preferred)

Position Requirements

  • MINIMUM 5+ years of medical sales experience including selling capital equipment with an ASP of a minimum of $10,000
  • You must have a DOCUMENTABLE track record in successful selling with at least 2 years prior earnings in excess of $100,000.
  • Must be highly financially and internally motivated, assertive and aggressive in driving sales and making commissions with an unwavering integrity.

Position Summary

We are seeking a medical device professional to focus on finding candidates for our existing positions and existing clients. As a Project Coordinator / Associate Recruiter, you will use our extensive network and database to match candidates to positions in sales, marketing, QA/RA and engineering, R&D, and senior level positions. "Prospecting" for clients is not required. While our methodologies are "high touch" (our President travels to conferences and has extensive industry connections), our home office is a HIGHLY technical office.

Our recruiters use multiple monitors to access data, deep internet research, and marketing communication such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Medical Device Forums, and blogging to stay current. You will need to be totally tuned in to the internet and able to navigate the computer "fearlessly" to research and source candidates, as well be very focused and able to talk credibly to candidates at all levels.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree and 2+ years of third party recruiting. (Preferred Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Clinical, or Technical Capacity)
  • Must be computer literate & highly proficient in MS Word and internet research.
  • Must have accurate and fast keyboarding skills and the ability to "listen" and process complex information during phone (and occasionally) in-person interviews with candidates.
