Regional Sales Director | Medical Device Sales | Northeast US 

Position Overview

You will be 1 of 3 Leaders nationally for a fast growing disruptive Medical Device company seeking entrepreneurial Sales Director to build and grow a high performing sales force of Direct and Distribution representatives. Certerix Orthopedics is revolutionizing meniscus procedures with its innovative technology. This entrepreneurial organization has a developed portfolio to address and unmet clinical need, and in the process of accelerating commercial expansion. Ideal candidates will have strong leadership qualities in managing though a fast-paced environment, the ability to be a player coach, sales process orientation, and experience selling clinically validated conceptional technology that changes the paradigm of surgeon thought process. 

Position Requirements

  • 10+ years medical sales and sales management experience – preferably in a disruptive technology.
  • Previous experience in hiring managing and training commercial team.
  • Strategic region development, and proven track record of growth
  • Strong capacity to develop sales process and develop corporate culture.
  • A combination of both start-up med device and pedigree company sales experience is ideal
  • Previous experience in strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Expertise in how to effectively navigate within a hospital to develop surgeon relationships as well as those of hospital personnel and hospital contract approval process.
  • Ability to travel 75%
  • Must occasionally lift or move up to 50lbs

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree minimum from an accredited 4 year university

Base Salary :  $150,000 + Commission 110,000(+) + Equity
Estimated Travel: 75%

<![CDATA[Regional Sales Manager - Texas]]> Regional Sales Manager –Surgery Capital Equipment (HIGH GROWTH)

We are seeking a clinically astute, patient-focused, and assertive medical device Regional Sales Manager with success managing  high-performing salespeople who sell complex surgical capital equipment into the operating room.  Orthopedic,  Neurosurgery, Dermatology or Wound Care experience preferred

Position Responsibilities

  • Manage a strong team of direct sales representatives, continuing to grow develop and grow a premier team experiencing 20%+ annual growth.
  • Responsible for training and reinforcing strategic selling techniques and practice including clinical selling, mentoring, leading and motivating sales representatives.
  • Accompany Sales team in negotiations to optimize sales, marketing, customer experience, and clinical application enablement and effectiveness through the management of people, systems, tools and processes.

Position Requirements

  • 7 – 12 years surgical medical device experience AND a minimum of 2 years sales management leadership experience managing at least 4 direct sales people.
  • Understanding of human anatomy & physiology and medical terminology
  • Strong & positive relationships with surgeons and/or surgery personnel, plus the ability to go into surgery and support surgeon during complex surgeries on occasion.
  • Extensive experience developing and managing strategic plans and growth strategies
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout region
  • Current credentialing through a recognized agency

Educational Requirements

  • BS/BA/BBA+ from an accredited university

Reports to VP of Sales
Base: $130,000
First year at plan $220,000+

Direct reports: 4-8

Degree:   Bachelor’s required
