Chief Operating Officer - Contract Manufacturing - Costa Rica - 1357266 

Our client, a forward-thinking contract manufacturing company, is seeking a dynamic leader to join their leadership team as the Chief Operating Officer. In this role, you will be working with the CEO to scale the company and utilizing your expertise in the medical device market to help grow the company's fastest-growing division.  

Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred. 
• 15+ years in operations and manufacturing, primarily in medical devices, with at least 10 years in a leadership role. 
• Highly analytical, able to set and monitor KPIs for the whole business and adjust operations as needed to reach growth goals. 
• Small to mid-size business experience is key, our client is an entrepreneurial organization that requires vision, resourcefulness, and a high level of accountability to be successful. 
• Strong visionary, looking for a seasoned leader to come in with the strategic and tactical ability to scale an organization.  

Responsibilities:  

• Foster an innovative culture focused on growth and accountability throughout the organization. 
• Create clear growth plans with operational roadmaps, aligning the various facets of the organization to achieve those goals.  
• Examine the market and identify opportunities to scale the organization in the medical device market. 
• Drive elite operational performance, always looking for ways to improve productivity and efficiency, while maintaining excellent quality standards. 
• Partner with the CEO to alleviate them from all operational tasks, and communicate performance and challenges in the business.  

Compensation: $240,000+ base, plus 25% bonus and competitive equity (base is commensurate to experience) 

Years of Experience: 15+ years 

Degree: MBA preferred  

Location: Relocation to Costa Rica within 6 months of start date would be preferred
