Chief Operating Officer – Medical Device Visualization and Electronics – New England – 1237868
Opportunity to scale a company with an innovative platform technology in a high-profile position reporting directly to the CEO. The Chief Operating Officer will work with leadership to manage growth as well as integrate recent acquisitions into company operations. Our client is seeking a proven leader who can be cognizant of the organization’s culture but also be proactive, decisive, and able to enhance the organization’s process and structure. Ideal candidates will have previous experience in a multi-site organization, able to lead a team, and the operational integration of M&A activities across multiple sites. Our client prefers a candidate who is both tactical and strategic, willing to lead from the front and be an agent of change, with a strong affinity to driving a more efficient P&L, honing in on both long-term and short-term strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred.
- 20+ years in product design/manufacturing with increasing levels of responsibility, and at least 10 years in a management role within the medical device industry.
- Experience meeting regulatory requirements such as ISO, FDA, ITAR, EAR.
- Previous experience overseeing mergers and acquisitions.
- Ability and vision to scale an organization through exceptional leadership
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and advise on all operations of the company from manufacturing to regulatory, and medical device.
- Provide forecasted P&L results.
- Guide the further integration of all three existing divisions, with extra attention to the medical device operations.
- Lead the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures across the entire corporation.
- Oversee future acquisitions and their integration into the company.
- Collaborate with the CFO on annual budgets and allocation, as well as KPIs for operational departments.
Compensation: Base 250,000+, 25% Bonus, Equity. (Compensation competitive and commensurate base on experience)
Years of Experience: 20+ with 10+ in a leadership role
Degree: BA/BS, MBA preferred
Location: Northeast
