Director Of Clinical Research - Surgical Robotics - California - 1595530 

Are you passionate about shaping the future of robotic-assisted surgery (RAS) and improving healthcare outcomes? Our client is looking for a Director of Clinical Research to drive progress in the true forefront of medical innovation. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the safe and effective use of our client’s technology across various minimally invasive surgical procedures. Lead clinical trials, collaborate with key opinion leaders, and influence strategy in a well-funded and nimble organization.  

Preferred Qualifications:   

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• 8+ years of experience in surgical robotics, with experience working with a start-up. 
• Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP), specifically in reference to clinical trials and studies. 
• Able to travel up to 25%, international and domestic. 

Responsibilities:   

• Lead pre-clinical and clinical trials, working closely with key opinion leaders to ensure safety, efficacy, and regulatory approval. 
• Manage relationships with Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) to meet clinical affairs goals. 
• Define study protocols from a business, research, regulatory, and marketing standpoint to achieve clinical objectives. 
• Work with surgical teams to identify and address their clinical needs and turn your findings into actionable items. 
• Collaborate with domestic and international teams to share insights and shape strategy. 
• Provide guidance for system development based on clinical evidence and requirements. 

Compensation: $150,000-$190,000 based on experience 

Travel:  25%
